The UFC star joined LFC's campaign and shared his own deeply personal experience to encourage others to speak up

UFC star Paddy "the Baddy" Pimblett joined Liverpool FC's mental health campaign, opening up about his past struggles with suicidal thoughts and urging men to speak out. The 31-year-old fighter spoke about the loss of his close friend Rikki Warnock to suicide in July 2022, which led Pimblett to establish the Baddy Foundation to challenge mental health stigmas.
Pimblett's involvement coincides with the LFC Foundation launching the "Kicking Off Conversations" hub at Anfield on World Mental Health Day. Former Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland also supported the initiative, which offers a safe and confidential matchday space at home fixtures.
