Monaco striker Folarin Balogun is reportedly set to leave the Ligue 1 club following a breakdown in relations after his failed summer transfer to Everton. The 25-year-old United States international saw a deadline-day permanent move fall through following a medical with David Moyes' side. Italian outlet TuttoSport reports that Juventus are now interested in signing the forward to take advantage of the situation.
Balogun has played under 45 minutes across all competitions this season and was omitted from Monaco's Conference League squad. Juventus, managed by Luciano Spalletti, could reportedly secure a cheaper permanent transfer than the fee Everton originally agreed. Additionally, the presence of USMNT teammate Weston McKennie in Turin is viewed as a factor that could help convince Balogun to join the Italian side.
