Bloom reiterated his Hearts ambitions by stating he would be “really disappointed” if the Tynecastle side fail to win the Premiership in the next decade.
Brighton chairman Tony Bloom stated in a Sky Sports interview that he would be really disappointed if Hearts fail to win the Scottish Premiership within the next decade. Bloom, who acquired a 29 percent stake in the club in summer 2025 with the aim of breaking the Old Firm duopoly, reaffirmed his ambition after Hearts narrowly lost the league title to Celtic on the final day of last season.
Following that defeat, Hearts saw manager Derek McInnes, captain Lawrence Shankland, and midfielder Cammy Devlin depart for Rangers. Now managed by Wouter Vrancken, Hearts sit third in the Premiership table ahead of an upcoming trip to Celtic Park, with Bloom expressing optimism following the arrival of multiple new signings.
