Titans skipper Tino Fa’asuamaleaui says rising star Zane Harrison is the “future” of the club and has urged him to stay amid reports he will hit the open market where he could attract huge offers from rival teams.
Gold Coast Titans captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui has called on 20-year-old halfback Zane Harrison to remain with the club as rival interest mounts ahead of November 1. Harrison has made 11 NRL appearances and is viewed by the club as a pivotal piece of their future alongside Jayden Campbell and Keano Kini.
Despite speculation that Harrison is seeking $900,000 per season, his management denied the figure, though the PNG Chiefs are reportedly among interested suitors. The Titans won four of 11 games with Harrison, who missed the end of the season due to a hamstring injury under head coach Josh Hannay.
