The Magpies go in against Unai Emery's side awaiting medical clearance on a number of key men

Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle faces critical selection decisions ahead of the upcoming clash against Aston Villa as several key players return from injury. Jaissle must rely on guidance from the club's medical staff regarding minutes for returning stars, following appearances by Joelinton, Amar Dedic, William Osula, and Dan Burn in their previous match.
Jaissle is also evaluating his defensive options, specifically whether to restore club captain Burn to the starting lineup alongside or in place of Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman. Additionally, the German coach will deliver fitness updates on Bazoumana Toure, Jacob Ramsey, and Tino Livramento ahead of the fixture.
