Jasprit Bumrah is set to miss India's upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand despite being fully fit. Team management has opted to rest the fast bowler from white-ball duties to manage his workload and prioritize his availability for red-ball cricket.
Bumrah will prepare for the Test series with training in Ahmedabad, a fitness assessment at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, and an India A appearance starting November 6. India aims to keep him fresh for the crucial World Test Championship matches against New Zealand and the subsequent Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
