Bleacher Report ranked Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg as the 23rd-best player in the NBA entering the 2026-27 season. The 19-year-old was placed one spot behind Philadelphia 76ers forward LeBron James and one spot ahead of Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija.
Flagg claimed the 2025-26 Rookie of the Year award after averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists across 70 games. Teammate Kyrie Irving, who returned from an ACL tear during preseason action in China, praised Flagg and expressed confidence that the young forward will lead the Mavericks franchise going forward.
