Hunter Dickinson is back with the Pelicans, though his next stop could be another season in the G League. New Orleans announced it has re-signed the 7-foot-1 center after waiving him from a two-way contract in August.
The New Orleans Pelicans have announced the re-signing of 7-foot-1 center Hunter Dickinson. Dickinson previously had his two-way contract waived by the team in August, and his new agreement is a non-guaranteed training camp deal according to reporter Paul Garcia.
The contract is reportedly structured to provide an Exhibit 10 bonus if he is waived and subsequently spends at least 60 days with the Laketown Squadron. The 25-year-old played in five NBA games last season, spending the majority of his time averaging 17.6 points and 11.0 rebounds in the G League.
