Hopes that Micah Parsons will be ready to play against his former team next week appear to be dashed.

Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons will miss the upcoming Week 6 matchup against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, as he continues rehabilitating a torn ACL. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed on Monday that Parsons has not yet received medical clearance to return to practice, despite surpassing the required four-week window on the physically unable to perform list.
Parsons suffered the injury on December 14 during a loss to the Denver Broncos, cutting short a 2025 campaign in which he earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors with 12.5 sacks. LaFleur emphasized that the team will prioritize balanced leg strength and comprehensive testing before clearing Parsons to return to game action.
