The Green Bay Packers star is now suing the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has filed a lawsuit against Wisconsin's Hobart-Lawrence Police Department to block the public release of investigative materials, including video footage allegedly showing an altercation with his ex-girlfriend. Jacobs filed the complaint in Brown County on Wednesday, seeking an injunction and protective order. The materials stem from a May 23 dispute at his home, with Jacobs and the victim arguing the release violates privacy and creates security risks.
Jacobs previously pleaded no contest on September 10 to battery and criminal damage to property, receiving over $1,000 in fines alongside a suspended sentence. The police department confirmed it is temporarily withholding the records pending court rulings. Jacobs remains sidelined from team activities after being placed on the NFL commissioner's exempt list.
