Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov took a nasty hit during the third period of a win over the St. Louis Blues.

Minnesota Wild star Kirill Kaprizov suffered an injury scare after a hit from St. Louis Blues goaltender Joel Hofer during Thursday's 5-4 victory. Hofer received a two-minute misconduct, and Kaprizov went to the tunnel for evaluation. Teammates Quinn Hughes and Matt Boldy later indicated Kaprizov was fine.
Writer Chris Schad argues that the incident highlights Minnesota's thin roster depth. The Wild already entered the contest missing seven players, including Brock Faber, Filip Gustavsson, Jared Spurgeon, and both Foligno brothers, raising concerns about the team's durability.
