WBO world champion Daniel Dubois underlines his status as Britain's leading heavyweight with a devastating second-round stoppage of Fabio Wardley.

Daniel Dubois retained his WBO heavyweight title with a commanding second-round stoppage victory over Fabio Wardley at London's O2 Arena. Dubois dropped Wardley with a straight right hand just 17 seconds into the first round and sustained relentless offensive pressure. After another heavy barrage in the second round, Wardley's trainer Ben Davison threw in the towel to halt the rematch.
The victory marks Dubois' second consecutive stoppage win over Wardley, following an 11-round battle five months prior. Dubois improved his professional record to 24 wins and three defeats, with 23 knockouts, while the 31-year-old Wardley suffered only the second loss of his 23-fight career.
