Orlando Magic small forward Noah Penda suffered a partially torn right hamstring during Friday's preseason finale against the Miami Heat. He is expected to miss significant time, though no official recovery timetable has been established. Penda previously dealt with a separate right hamstring issue during training camp that had fully healed.
The Magic are also dealing with other injury concerns ahead of Wednesday's season opener against Atlanta. Franz Wagner exited Friday's game due to right shoulder soreness, while guard Jase Richardson is day-to-day with low back soreness.
