2026 Golden Boy award: The two nominees from Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund summer signings Joane Gadou and Konstantinos Karetsas have been nominated for the 2026 Golden Boy award. Italian publication Tuttosport released the 25-player shortlist honoring the best under-21 footballers in Europe, with the award set to be presented in November.

Gadou joined Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg for €19.5 million, while Karetsas arrived from Belgian club Genk for €30 million. Both teenagers have made positive impressions in manager Kovac's squad, joining favorites such as Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi on the shortlist.
