The Story in 60 Seconds

Borussia Dortmund have named their traveling squad for Tuesday's Champions League match against Azerbaijani side Sabah FK while confirming that Konstantinos Karetsas suffered a foot ligament injury. The Greek youngster picked up the issue during the weekend fixture against 1. FC Union Berlin. Dortmund managing director for sport Lars Ricken stated that the setback will rule Karetsas out of both the trip to Baku and Saturday's Bundesliga game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

While Karetsas faces time on the sidelines, Ricken noted that the injury is not as severe as Dortmund initially feared based on teammate reactions. Dortmund's announced squad for the European tie features Gregor Kobel, Waldemar Anton, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jobe Bellingham, Carney Chukwuemeka, Serhou Guirassy, and Ethan Nwaneri, among others travelling for the continental fixture.
