VfB Stuttgart midfielder Grischa Prömel has reflected on the difficult playing conditions in Bratislava after his side secured a 3-0 Champions League victory on Wednesday evening.

VfB Stuttgart midfielder Grischa Prömel reflected on the challenging, sandy pitch conditions following his team's 3-0 victory against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League. Speaking after the match, Prömel noted that many players were slipping on the surface, but emphasized that manager Sebastian Hoeneß urged the squad not to use conditions as an excuse. Stuttgart successfully secured their second consecutive win in the competition.
Prömel also pointed out that Stuttgart missed chances to score more goals in the first half, which left the match open to pressure from Bratislava after the interval. Stuttgart managed to defend well and score late goals to secure the win, with Prömel noting the demanding upcoming schedule as they prepare for a Bundesliga clash against Hamburger SV.
