Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac delivered a damning assessment of his side's performance following Wednesday's 1-0 Champions League defeat to Bodø/Glimt.

Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac criticized his squad's lack of passion and intensity following a 1-0 away defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Wednesday. Fredrik Sjovold scored the winning second-half goal for the Norwegian hosts, leaving Dortmund to struggle across most of the encounter.
Kovac admitted his team deserved to lose after failing to match their opponents' speed and agility until after a quadruple substitution. Accepting responsibility for his squad rotation, the manager demanded an immediate improvement in determination ahead of Dortmund's upcoming Bundesliga fixture against Union Berlin.
