So far this season, the 27-year-old has contributed a goal and assist in seven games in Germany's third division.

German 3. Liga club Waldhof Mannheim rejected a €1.3 million transfer bid from Dutch side Groningen for Lovis Bierschenk last summer, according to Absolut Fussball. The proposal, which was Groningen's second and final offer, could have risen further with bonuses. However, sporting director Gerhard Zuber and head coach Rui Mota turned down the permanent transfer to retain the attacker for their promotion ambitions.
Waldhof views the 21-year-old as an essential player to push for promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. Bierschenk became the club's record signing when he arrived for €400,000 last January, having previously won the German U-19 Championship with Mainz in 2023.
