Former Burnley player Glen Little has warned that the Clarets face genuine danger of back-to-back relegations if their form does not immediately improve. Burnley sit bottom of the Championship after failing to win any of their opening eight league matches under manager Nicky Hayen, despite entering the campaign as promotion contenders following their relegation from the Premier League.
Speaking to the Burnley Express, Little highlighted that Burnley have not won a league fixture since February or a home game in nearly a year. He argued the squad possesses enough quality with players like Kyle Walker and Anel Ahmedhodzic, but warned that weak performances and upcoming difficult winter conditions could drop them into League One.
