Why Nicky Hayen is not surprised by the size of Burnley challenge

Burnley manager Nicky Hayen stated that he is not surprised by the difficulty of his role at the club, despite growing pressure just two-and-a-half months into his tenure. The Clarets sit bottom of the Championship table after failing to win any of their opening eight league games this season.

Hayen pointed to arriving late in pre-season, squad turnover, and fitness issues as reasons for the tough start, while insisting he is ready to fight to improve results. Despite a stoppage-time equalizer leading to a 1-1 draw against Derby County, Hayen's job reportedly remains safe for now.
