Burnley manager Nicky Hayen has detailed the club's preparation plans during an extended three-week international break. The Clarets are considering an overseas training camp ahead of their upcoming match against Watford on Saturday, October 10. Hayen wants to use the break as a mini pre-season after a difficult start to the Championship campaign that has left the team at the bottom of the table.

The team is reportedly considering traveling to Barcelona to utilize the training facilities of Espanyol, who share ownership under Alan Pace, although plans have not yet been finalized. Despite eight players departing for international duty, the schedule will include rest days, a running program, and dedicated preparation aimed at reviving their league form.
