The Story in 60 Seconds

Burnley suffered a dramatic 5-4 defeat away to Cardiff City after squandering a 4-1 lead with less than 30 minutes remaining. Goals from Andreas Hountondji, Marcus Edwards, Largie Ramazani, and an Alex Robertson own-goal put the Clarets firmly in control by the 62nd minute. However, Brian Barry-Murphy's side produced an incredible late turnaround to secure all three points.

Cardiff responded through an Ollie Tanner effort, a brace from substitute Yousef Salech, and a Jack Moylan penalty. In the 95th minute, Robertson scored a spectacular long-range winner to seal Cardiff's comeback, leaving new Burnley manager Fabio Celestini with just two points from his first three matches and the Clarets in the relegation zone.
