Furious West Ham fans yell ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt’ after dismal defeat in Scott Parker’s second game

West Ham United supporters vented their fury by chanting that players were "not fit to wear the shirt" after a 2-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers. The loss came just 72 hours into new manager Scott Parker's tenure, leaving the club ninth in the Championship. Second-half goals from Andri Gudjohnsen and Dapo Afolayan gave Blackburn a decisive lead before Joel Piroe pulled one back for the Hammers.

The defeat was Parker's second game in charge after replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked following a 3-1 home loss to West Bromwich Albion. West Ham, aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League, have won only six of their first 14 league matches. Speaking after the game, Parker expressed disappointment with his side's lack of clinical finishing.
