Jordan James makes permanent Leicester City transfer admission amid “love” for relegated club

Former Leicester City loan midfielder Jordan James revealed he would have considered a permanent stay had the club avoided relegation from the Championship. Following Leicester's drop at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, the Welsh international instead completed a summer transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

James originally joined Leicester City on loan from Stade Rennais, finishing as the team's top scorer with 11 goals and four assists in 34 appearances. However, the club struggled during his absence, failing to win any of the eight Championship matches he missed through injury.
