Portsmouth midfielder Odin Bailey says their three-game unbeaten run shows they are improving as a team.

Portsmouth midfielder Odin Bailey believes the team is close to becoming a really good side despite an inconsistent start to the season. John Mousinho's team sits 19th in the Championship table after losing three of their opening four games, followed by a three-match unbeaten run featuring a win over Cardiff and draws with Charlton Athletic and Blackburn Rovers.
Bailey joined Pompey on a three-year contract from Stockport County ahead of the season and has made four substitute appearances so far. The 26-year-old emphasized patience regarding his playing time as Portsmouth prepares for an away fixture against rivals Southampton on October 11.
