Southampton striker Cyle Larin has emerged as a doubt for Pompey’s trip to St Mary’s next Sunday

Southampton striker Cyle Larin is a potential injury doubt for the upcoming south-coast derby against Portsmouth. Canada manager Jesse Marsch revealed the 31-year-old forward suffered a minor back injury in the weight room while on international duty, which could sideline him for Canada's match against Peru and impact his availability next Sunday.
Larin currently leads the Championship with seven league goals this season. His fitness concern follows news that Southampton goalkeeper Daniel Peretz withdrew from the Israel national squad with a groin issue, reportedly sidelining him for 10 days and leaving backup George Long on standby.
