Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says the club is "getting bashed about" after a difficult start to the season.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder stated that the club, its ownership, and players are "getting bashed about" amid a difficult start to the Championship campaign. The Blades currently sit 18th in the table after winning only two of their first eight league matches and losing three of their last four games. The club also faces off-field scrutiny as the EFL investigates following the liquidation of the company previously used to purchase the club.
Wilder emphasized that Sheffield United underwent major changes during the summer transfer window, raising £20m and cutting £10m from the wage bill. Key regulars Callum O'Hare, Gus Hamer, and Andre Brooks departed, forcing the team to integrate new signings through loans and free transfers. Despite the slow start, Wilder expressed determination to reverse the team's form through upcoming performances.
