Former Portsmouth man Adam Webster remains without a club, but Pompey could help him get back on the right track.

Portsmouth are considering offering free agent defender Adam Webster an opportunity to train with the squad as he works to regain fitness following a serious knee injury. The 31-year-old centre-back came through Portsmouth's academy before moving on to Brighton & Hove Albion, but he has been without a club since June and has not played competitively since May 2025.
Webster previously drew transfer interest from West Ham United and Sheffield United, though no moves materialized. The writer notes that while a formal signing has not been confirmed, Portsmouth currently have three available spots in their EFL squad list.
