Southampton FC has promoted former defender Olly Lancashire to academy manager for the under-17 to under-21 age groups as part of an academy leadership restructure. Lancashire will work alongside Duncan Fearnhead, who oversees the under-9s to under-16s, and head of academy operations Kirsty Whitton at the Staplewood training ground.
The leadership trio will report to Sport Republic group head of talent strategy Andy Goldie. Lancashire's responsibilities will focus heavily on player retention and helping youth players transition into first-team football, while Whitton oversees academy operations, logistics, and governance.
