This Southampton star has been branded a "winner" by Tonda Eckert and he's only just getting started.

Southampton player Kuryu Matsuki has earned his first senior call-up to the Japan national team following an impressive run of form for the Championship club. Southampton manager Tonda Eckert has praised the midfielder, branding him a "winner" during his strong start to the season.
Matsuki made an impact at St. Mary's by providing an assist against Swansea City after substituting for Tom Fellows. He subsequently started against Bristol City, scoring a goal past goalkeeper Sam Tickle to help secure a victory for his side.
