Harry Whitwell has impressed in his West Brom team breakthrough, but he struggled against Preston, and may be dropped versus West Ham…

Writer James Ray argues West Bromwich Albion manager James Morrison should consider dropping 20-year-old Harry Whitwell for Saturday's Championship clash against third-placed West Ham. Whitwell struggled during West Brom's recent 1-1 draw with Preston North End, failing to complete a dribble and managing only a 68% pass success rate before being substituted after an hour.
Ray suggests new signings Rabby Nzingoula and Kareem Tunde are primed to challenge for Whitwell's spot on the right flank. Nzingoula, signed from RC Strasbourg, offers strong ball-carrying and defensive capability, while Tunde recently returned from injury. Ray notes that forward Jimmy-Jay Morgan also provides Morrison with an alternative attacking option.
