Albion have been dealt a devastating injury blow during the international break.

West Bromwich Albion right-back Nolan Galves will miss the remainder of the 2026/27 season after undergoing knee surgery, which included an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The French defender sustained the injury in early September against Derby County shortly after coming on as a substitute. Albion director of medical Tony Strudwick confirmed the surgery took place earlier this week.
Galves joined Albion from French side Rodez in a deal worth approximately £1 million during the summer. With the defender sidelined until May, West Brom manager James Morrison is expected to rely on fellow summer signing Brayann Pereira to step into the right-back role for the remainder of the campaign.
