Nuno Espirito Santo has dropped a major hint over the futures of West Ham’s £70m outcast trio after all three were involved in different ways…

West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo included frozen-out players Soungoutou Magassa, Edson Alvarez, and Maxwel Cornet in a 2-0 behind-closed-doors friendly win over Wycombe. Magassa started the match in central midfield, while Alvarez and Cornet featured as second-half substitutes at Rush Green. Returning midfielder Tomas Soucek scored a penalty and Joel Piroe added a second goal during the international break fixture.
Hammers News reports that Magassa is considered the most likely of the trio to achieve first-team reintegration after previous bench appearances against Fulham and Millwall. In contrast, West Ham reportedly still expect Alvarez and Cornet to depart in the January transfer window if suitable offers arrive, viewing their friendly appearances primarily as fitness work rather than a change of plans.
