Nuno on West Ham’s bright start and being back in the Championship

West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to Sky Sports about his team's strong run of form and their upcoming fixture against Queens Park Rangers. After a winless August, a 4-2 victory against Wolves sparked a turnaround that earned Nuno the Championship Manager of the Month award for September. A victory over QPR on Friday night would temporarily send West Ham to the top of the Championship table.

Nuno highlighted the squad's set-piece effectiveness, with six of their 22 goals originating from set plays, including four goals in four matches from Konstantinos Mavropanos. Despite the successful run following a 2-2 comeback draw against Millwall, Nuno noted that the newly assembled squad still has room for defensive balance and sustained performance across a demanding Championship season.
