West Ham United have set a target of 92 points to secure promotion back to the Premier League, according to a club source speaking to Hammers News. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo's side face a crucial sequence of Championship fixtures in October, including meetings with Queens Park Rangers, Lincoln City, Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, and league leaders Swansea City.
The source noted that 92 points is typically sufficient for promotion nine out of ten seasons. To raise their projected tally from an initial pace of 86 points toward that 92-point target, West Ham will need a minimum of 11 points from their next five upcoming matches.
