Five away, three frustrated: Wrexham’s international break picture

Five Wrexham players have departed for international duty during the season's first international break. Danny Ward and Kieffer Moore joined Craig Bellamy's Wales squad for four Nations League matches, while Bailey Cadamarteri linked up with Jamaica. Additionally, Issa Kaboré joined Burkina Faso and Jacques Ekomié was called up by Gabon for two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Three other Wrexham players missed out on call-ups. Nathan Broadhead was sidelined from Wales selection due to a thigh injury sustained before Wrexham's 2-1 Championship victory over Southampton. Meanwhile, club captain Dominic Hyam was omitted from the Scotland squad by new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli.
