Phil Parkinson has been handed a boost after seeing several key players return to the training pitch ahead of Wrexham's Championship clash with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has received a fitness boost ahead of Saturday's Championship match against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. Ben Sheaf has returned to full training after a groin injury, while George Thomason and Max Cleworth participated in part of the training session following thigh and hamstring issues respectively.
Parkinson noted that other injured players face longer roads to recovery. Nathan Broadhead is undertaking fitness work on grass, Josh Windass is currently wearing a protective boot on his ankle, and Libby Cacace remains in the gym with a more long-term calf problem.
