Former Sheffield Wednesday player of the year Will Vaulks has certainly not forgotten the club.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Will Vaulks has launched a suicide prevention and awareness initiative at Hillsborough in collaboration with 'The Baton of Hope' charity. Supported by funding from the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), the programme delivers specialized training across all departments at the club, including the first team and academy.
Vaulks, now captaining Tranmere Rovers, secured PFA funding to pilot the workplace pledge and chose Sheffield Wednesday following his successful two-year spell there. Club captain Liam Palmer welcomed the initiative, which has also been adopted by local rivals Sheffield United.
