Does Raphinha get enough credit at Barcelona?

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stated that Barcelona captain Raphinha does not receive the credit he deserves, calling him a key player for Hansi Flick's squad. Courtois praised the Brazilian forward's impact, noting that Barcelona suffers significantly whenever Raphinha is unavailable.

Raphinha has scored 14 goals in eight games during Barcelona's strong start to the season. Despite his form, the winger was omitted from the final nominees for both the 2025 and 2026 Ballon d'Or awards, a decision that also baffled Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone.
