Referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández is reportedly leading the race to officiate the upcoming El Clásico clash between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. The Spanish Football Federation is expected to confirm the appointment ahead of the fixture scheduled for October 25th at the Camp Nou, according to reports from Radio MARCA and Mundo Deportivo.
Hernández Hernández has previously officiated 42 matches involving Barcelona, with the Catalan club securing 26 wins, 12 draws, and four losses. In contrast, he has overseen 37 matches featuring Real Madrid, where the club has recorded 21 victories, six draws, and 10 defeats.
