Despite arriving for an 80 million euro fee from Monaco in 2022 to succeed Casemiro, Tchouameni has reportedly struggled to consistently match expectations, display adequate intensity, or effectively dictate tempo in midfield.
The column highlights that while Tchouameni has performed well for France and filled in effectively at center-back, his midfield form has fluctuated significantly without Toni Kroos. Arora suggests that unless Tchouameni improves his consistency under manager Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid may eventually consider listening to transfer offers.
