OL: Pavel Šulc reveals why his transfer to Juventus failed

Olympique Lyonnais attacking midfielder Pavel Šulc confirmed he was approached by Juventus during the summer transfer window. The Czech international stated that he was open to the move, but the permanent transfer failed because the Italian club's offer was not deemed sufficient for the clubs to reach an agreement.

Lyon captain Corentin Tolisso also advocated for Šulc to remain with the French side during the period of uncertainty. Šulc previously joined Lyon from Viktoria Plzeň for 7.5 million euros, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 27 Ligue 1 matches last season.
