Lionel Messi scores twice in his first match since retiring from international football in an emphatic 4-0 win for Inter Miami against DC United.

Lionel Messi scored two goals to guide Inter Miami to a 4-0 victory over DC United on Saturday. The match marked the 39-year-old forward's first appearance since retiring from the Argentina national team four days earlier, following a farewell victory against Benin. Messi netted his goals in the 47th and 60th minutes of the match.
Teammate Luis Suárez also contributed a brace to secure the dominant win at Nu Stadium. The result marked only the second win in 11 league matches for the defending MLS champions, who are coached by Kily Gonzalez.
