Bournemouth midfielder is likely to be hot property once he returns from injury

Liverpool and Chelsea are among seven major clubs monitoring AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott ahead of a potential permanent transfer battle, according to reporter Ben Jacobs. Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are also tracking the 23-year-old England international as he pauses contract extension talks on the south coast.
Bournemouth intend to retain Scott through the January window and could demand upwards of £100 million before considering a sale. Scott, who is under contract until 2028 under manager Marco Rose, is currently sidelined until December after sustaining a thigh injury during international duty with England.
