Reports in Spain claim Mikel Arteta has opened the door for Martin Zubimendi to join Real Madrid. The Spanish midfielder is reportedly seeking more consistent playing time, having not started a Premier League match this season following a recent injury setback. Chelsea is also reportedly monitoring his situation ahead of a potential winter transfer if his role does not improve.
Arteta addressed Zubimendi's standing following Arsenal's 2-1 win over Everton, noting the player must earn his place but deserves more minutes. While rumors suggest Zubimendi wants to move as soon as possible, no concrete transfer offers have yet materialized.
