Arsenal Women Weekly Roundup: Can Russo Inspire A Gunners Revival?

Alessia Russo has spearheaded a recent revival for Arsenal Women following a challenging start to the Women's Super League campaign under Renée Slegers. The forward struck twice in Arsenal's recent 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, finishing an Emily Fox cross in the eighth minute and heading home Lisa Baum's delivery before half-time.

Michelle writes for Just Arsenal News that Russo's strong form—including goals against Tottenham, a Champions League hat-trick against Benfica, and an equalizer against Aston Villa—provides renewed hope. Arsenal now face upcoming fixtures against Barcelona in Europe and London City Lionesses in the WSL.
