Bruno Guimaraes is the reason why Arsenal beat Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium. The visitors were by far the better team in the opening…

Mikel Arteta warned Bruno Guimaraes about maintaining Arsenal standards despite the midfielder scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Leeds United at Emirates Stadium. After James Justin opened the scoring for Leeds and Riccardo Calafiori equalized in the 62nd minute, Guimaraes came off the bench to score the decisive goal in the 70th minute.
Arteta praised the Brazilian's cameo but reminded him of his poor prior display against Brighton, demanding consistent high-level performances every week. Shamanth Jayaram notes that Guimaraes faces stiff competition from in-form midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly to secure a regular starting spot in Arteta's squad.
