Vinicius Jr’s season went from bad to worse in Real Madrid’s latest game against Villarreal. The Brazilian was Arsenal’s dream target in the summer transfer…
Vinicius Jr commented on Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimaraes's Instagram post just hours before receiving a red card for Real Madrid against Villarreal. After Guimaraes scored the winning goal in Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Leeds United, Vinicius praised his international teammate by commenting, "You are a good one, bro!"
Later that day, Vinicius came off the bench for Real Madrid, had a goal disallowed by VAR, and was sent off for pulling Nathan Saliba's hair. Writer Shamanth Jayaram suggests Arsenal may have dodged a bullet after missing out on signing the forward in the summer.
