Arsenal have now made an approach to sign Club Tijuana star Gilberto Mora.
Arsenal have made contact regarding a potential January transfer for Club Tijuana attacking midfielder Gilberto Mora, according to a report from TEAMtalk. The Gunners have emerged as strong contenders for the 17-year-old, who is reportedly valued at around £37m. However, Arsenal face widespread competition for the permanent deal from rival Premier League sides as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Mora made a name for himself representing Mexico at the World Cup, playing in four of their five matches. The teenager has recorded five goals and one assist across seven Liga MX Apertura matches for Club Tijuana this season as manager Mikel Arteta looks to add attacking reinforcements.
