Aston Villa have achieved a €162 million (£136m) player value increase over the past five years, according to research from the CIES Football Observatory. The figures rank Villa 43rd in Europe for generating value. The study calculates the balance between transfer fees spent since 2021 and revenue from departures, alongside current squad valuations.
CIES found Villa earned a €64 million profit on sold players and holds €98 million in squad appreciation. Key contributors to the club's financial gains include Jacob Ramsey, Jhon Duran, Morgan Rogers, and Youri Tielemans, while recent additions like Nicolas Jackson have also increased in estimated value.
